The process is simple: (1) Upload your video file, (2) AWS services transcribe and analyze the content, (3) ClipFactory extracts and uploads the selected clips, and (4) Download your completed clips. Processing time varies with video length, workload, and retries.

We support MP4, MOV, WebM, and AVI formats. Videos can be up to 500 MB on the Free plan, 2 GB on Pro, and 5 GB on Business. All resolutions are supported, from SD to 4K.

Yes, you need a free account to use ClipFactory. Registration takes less than a minute and requires only your email address. You can sign up with your email or use Google/Microsoft OAuth for faster registration.

The Free plan includes 3 AI-processed trial videos per account, up to 5 clips per video, a 500 MB max file size, full video transcription, AI highlight detection, and all core features. Trial videos never renew, and advertisements are displayed. No credit card is required.

Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to the new limits. When downgrading, the change applies at the end of your current billing cycle.

Free trial videos never renew, so you must upgrade to process more videos after using all three. Pro and Business limits reset at the start of each calendar month.

No. Advertisements are only shown on the Free plan. Both Pro and Business plans provide a completely ad-free experience.

Absolutely. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. You'll retain access to your paid features until the end of your billing period. No questions asked.

AWS transcription generates timestamped text across multiple languages. Accuracy varies with audio quality, language, speakers, and background noise. Transcripts support highlight detection and clip metadata.

Each generated clip receives a viral potential score (0-100) based on AI analysis of engagement factors like pacing, emotional peaks, hooks, and content relevance. Higher scores indicate clips with greater potential for engagement and sharing.

Currently, ClipFactory generates clips automatically. However, all clips are downloaded as standard video files that you can edit further in any video editor like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

AWS transcription supports multiple languages. Results vary by language and audio quality, and the resulting transcript is used for highlight detection.

Yes! All clips generated by ClipFactory are delivered without watermarks, ready to post directly to social media platforms.

You retain full ownership of all videos you upload and all clips generated from them. ClipFactory does not claim any rights to your content. You can use, modify, and distribute your clips freely.

Cloudflare R2 stores your processing assets and generated clips, while AWS services process audio and transcript data to provide transcription and analysis. Access is controlled through the Service. See the Privacy Policy for provider and retention details.

Original uploads and extracted audio are temporary. ClipFactory deletes them after every intended clip is extracted and uploaded successfully; if any clip fails or remains pending, those source assets are retained for retry. Generated clips remain until you delete the clip or its parent video. Deletion is performed by the application and may not be instantaneous across provider infrastructure.

You are responsible for ensuring that videos you upload do not infringe on third-party copyrights. ClipFactory is a tool for processing your own content. We do not endorse or facilitate copyright infringement.

Processing time depends on video length and plan type. Free plan videos typically process within 5-15 minutes. Pro and Business plans have priority processing and usually complete within 2-5 minutes.

If clip extraction or upload fails, the original video and extracted audio are retained so processing can be retried. Common causes include corrupted files, unsupported formats, or temporary processing and storage errors.

API access is coming soon! It will be available on the Business plan, allowing developers to integrate ClipFactory into their own applications and workflows.
